The "P" Development Division is tasked with
enhancing existing and exploring and developing
new programs, products, delivery systems and
techniques. Our mission is to assist both
the other National Auxiliary Human Resources Divisions
in the success of their missions and to encourage
and support all levels of Auxiliary "HR" staff
to achieve effectiveness, excellence and recognition.
We will achieve these goals by delivering
relevant and effective products and services
to the membership at all levels. Our primary
mission is insuring the Auxiliary as a whole,
has a robust, healthy and committed membership.

The Resources Department promotes recruitment / retention by administering the Human Resources awards program: NACO Growth Awards (individual, flotilla, division), flotilla / division 50th anniversary recognition and any other needed Human Resources recognition.
We are responsible for the coordination of auxiliary assistance to the Coast Guard Work / Life program and supervise auxiliary involvement in the program. We work on developing and coordinating the Auxiliary Ombudsman Program. We look to develop new programs that will benefit the member or the member’s family. We are looking for volunteers to be ombudsmen.
Realizing communication is one of the best methods of retention; the Resources department supervises the publication of the Human Resources Interchange, which we publish on a regular basis to keep the membership appraised of activities in the Human Resource arena. We welcome articles to add to our publication.

The Retention Department
is a very diverse department not only covering
retention, but fellowship and member benefits.
We are here to help you retain your members.

The Diversity division’s mission is a step in the right direction aligning organization goals to increase performance and productivity through diversity and inclusion. Diversity and inclusion is more than the recognition of differences it leverages the knowledge, skills and experiences of all members so the Auxiliary can develop the best talent, create an inclusive culture of our ranks as we grow.
The Diversity division’s goal is to make diversity an organizational imperative and bring to us a treasure trove of different perspectives, insights as we reach out in areas where the auxiliary has not gone before.

The Uniform Division
is responsible for receiving and disseminating
information regarding uniforms. The Division
ensures that all necessary information concerning
the procurement, proper wear and maintenance
of uniforms is accessible to all members of
the Auxiliary.
The uniforms of
all members are of utmost importance to the
face of the Auxiliary. Every member in uniform
represents the Auxiliary, and subsequently,
Team Coast Guard. Our appearance not only reflects
our pride in our organization, but affects the
attitude of the public towards our mission.
Presently, the Uniform Division
is endeavoring to launch the "How Do We Look?"
Campaign. During this time, all members are
encouraged by the Division to take some extra
time to reflect on the significance of their
uniforms and the importance of proper attire.
Meetings, workshops, open forums and other instructive
means are just some of the methods by which
the Uniform Division will continue to work towards
educating all members in the proper selection,
and display, of his or her uniform. The goals
of the campaign will give intimate insight into
what this Division is about and what it intends
to accomplish.
