Ocean City, Maryland.In an informal meeting at City Hall, Mayor James Mathias makes a major point about safe boating shortly after signing a Proclamation for Safe Boating Week. Chief Greg Durstine, US Coast Guard, Ocean City, Maryland, (L) received warm thanks in behalf of the Coast Guard for saving three lives in the Inlet of Ocean City only days before. Six months earlier three lives were saved from cold December waters when a small boat overturned and broke up on a jetty nearby in the Inlet.
