Port Townsend, WA. Flotilla 47 (D13) in conjunction with Coast Guard Group/Air Station Port Angeles participate in a Man Overboard Demonstration.
Months of planning by the Revitalization Team for Flotilla 47 (headed by Don Millbauer) culminated in a perfect Man Overboard Demonstration, drawing media attention and potential new members. The demonstration consisted of Coast Guard Auxiliary Vessels (the Tug Elmore owned by Dee Meek of Flotilla 41) and Auxiliary kayaks), aircraft and personnel (Sector Port Angeles) working in conjunction with Active Coast Guard equipment and personnel (Team Blue).
